About Empowered Educational Services

Clarity, Support, and Collaboration at Every Step

A Thoughtful Approach

At Empowered Educational Services, we believe that meaningful progress begins with understanding. Students benefit most when their learning needs are clearly identified, supports are thoughtfully designed, and the systems around them, at school and at home, work together. Our approach is collaborative, practical, and individualized, with a focus on helping families feel informed, supported, and confident as they navigate educational decisions.

Experience and Perspective

My background in education spans nearly a decade and includes experience both as a classroom special education teacher and as a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant. Working within schools has shaped how I approach evaluation, support, and collaboration, giving me insight into how educational decisions are made and where families often need clearer guidance.

I approach my work with an emphasis on thoughtful assessment, practical problem-solving, and collaboration with families and schools. Rather than offering one-size-fits-all recommendations, I focus on understanding each student’s learning profile and helping families translate information into meaningful, realistic supports. My goal is to help families feel informed, supported, and confident as they navigate both academic challenges and school systems.

How We Work With Families

Families come to us at different points in their journey, and our work is designed to meet them where they are. Support often begins with clarifying a student’s learning needs through evaluation or consultation, though families are not required to start with an evaluation if recent school-based testing or other documentation is already available.

From there, services are tailored based on each student’s needs and family goals. This may include building skills through executive function coaching or targeted academic support, advocating within school systems through IEP guidance, and stabilizing home routines through parent coaching and home systems support. Families may engage in one or several types of support over time, depending on evolving needs.

Throughout the process, we provide clear guidance, thoughtful recommendations, and ongoing collaboration so families feel informed, supported, and confident in their decisions.

Who We Support

We support students and families navigating learning and executive functioning challenges that impact school and home life. Services are available for students across early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school, as well as families seeking guidance as educational demands increase over time.

Families often seek support when students are struggling to keep up with expectations, demonstrate their abilities, manage organization and time, or navigate school-based supports. We also work with families who are seeking greater clarity, improved communication with schools, or more effective systems at home to support their child’s learning and well-being.

Support is individualized and responsive, recognizing that each student and family brings a unique set of strengths, challenges, and goals.
